It hasn't been the easiest of transitions for me. (have not made any major work changes for the past 4 yrs!)
I'm still learning, although more settled now and getting to know lots of people that I never had the chance to previously.
I like the new opportunities this place presents to me.
Yesterday I brought a trainer from USA around S'pore on a 'localised tour' after work.
Introduced him to jambu, nangka, durians, our hawker food. We spoke about CNY traditions. Brought him to heartland malls and the colorful sights of Little India...
I think he enjoyed it. I know I did! It reminded me that this is one aspect I miss.
Maybe I should explore coming up with THE unique tour experience for visitors to Singapore :)
