An Auspicious New Year

The office went a little crazy pre-CNY.

It started when 'Flower' found an old paper pineapple that we used to hang for CNY in her cupboard. It was still in good shape, so we hung it at the spot its hung for more than one CNY, over our former-AD's cubicle. The cubicle is now occupied by our DD who was not too amused with the bright hanging fruit. He's not very ching-chong and didn't approve. Although we did tell him it was for good luck.

Then D realised that DD was the only one who had an auspicious pineapple hanging over his cubicle. D wasn't too happy. We explained that we had only one pineapple and we had always hung it in that particular corner.

So D went to buy more paper pineapples. Bigger than the one that hung over DD's cubicle. We were instructed to hang it all around the office. We summoned together a senior council who then proceeded to study the feng-shui of the space, to ensure that the pineapples would be able to bring as much auspiciousness as possible.

So now, instead of just one pineapple over DD's cubicle. We have 6. Really come see. We're definitely going to have an auspicious year ahead! We have too- with 6 pineapples!
